About
About ArtDaddy
ArtDaddy is an open-source, local-first AI video editor for Windows, macOS and Linux. It is made and published by AUTOSHOT PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated in Delhi, India.
What ArtDaddy is
ArtDaddy is a desktop video editor with a real multi-track timeline that you can still grab, trim and undo, and an AI agent that makes edits on that timeline. Use the agent built into the app, or drive the same editor from Claude Code, Codex, Copilot or Cursor over MCP.
It is local-first. Your footage stays on your computer and is not uploaded in order to be edited; the only things that leave are the AI requests you explicitly make. The application is open source under the GPL-3.0 licence, so the code that touches your files is public.
