The editor is free to use. Paid plans and top-ups are credits for generating video, images, music and voice-overs, and they are launching soon. Until then, every new account gets free credits to try generation. The plans below show what we plan to offer; their prices and credit amounts apply from the day they launch.
What is free
- The editor. The multi-track timeline, editing, export and the MCP server. The code is open source under the GPL-3.0 licence and runs on your computer.
- Transcription. It runs on your own machine.
- A one-time grant of free credits for every new account, so you can try generating video, images, music and voice-overs.

Prices are in US dollars and do not include tax. The introductory price applies to your first three billing cycles; after that the regular price applies.
Top-ups
On a paid plan you can add credits at any time. Choose a whole-dollar amount from $10 to $50. You get 175 credits for each dollar, before tax: $10 gives 1,750 credits, $25 gives 4,375 and $50 gives 8,750. Top-up credits last 12 months from your most recent top-up. The introductory price does not apply to top-ups.
How credits work
- Credits pay for generating video, images, music and voice-overs. The Generate panel and the MCP server spend the same credits.
- A request costs credits according to the model you use and the size or length of what you ask for.
- Plan credits renew with every billing period. Unused plan credits do not roll over.
- You spend plan credits first, then top-up credits, then any free credits.
- Credits are added only after your payment is confirmed.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Payment and tax
Payments will be processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. Dodo will take your payment, add any VAT, GST or sales tax that applies in your country at checkout, and issue your receipt.
Once paid plans launch you can cancel at any time, and refunds are covered by our Refund and cancellation policy. The full agreement is in the Terms of Service.
